Influenced by Greek classical aesthetics and archetypal symbols, Villy Margariti-Dalacoura began exploring marble as material, carving into it minimal forms and sleek lines. Considering the physico-mechanical properties, resilience, and versatility of various kinds of marble, it is her choice to work only with sources from Greek quarries: The same timeless white and semi-white marble that was used for ancient sculptural and architectural masterpieces.

All VMD objects have an individual story. The natural, historical and architectural context of the project is taken into consideration for the technical study and for the type of marble to be chosen, according to its features. Structural solutions blend into contemporary design.
